Ugrijmo muzej! (2012)

In January 2012., Historical Museum (Museum of Revolution) had 7 days action named "Ugrijmo muzej"( Warm ourselves Museum). Color Crew took part in that action, making re:action on situation in Museum (Museum doesn't have any heating since 1992. It also posses  big collection of art works from Bosnia&Herzegovina long history. Art works are placed in depot, and in our country - temporary, nobody takes response for that situation).

At the performance, members of CC were reading periodically 101 name of artists whose art works are now placed in Depot. As the projections of artist's artworks were on their bodies.

We shine, Sarajevo, October 2010., Gallery Duplex/10m2

"WE TOOK OUR ROLE IN BODY ART BECAUSE THE INTERACTION IS THE BIGGEST. ART  CAN BE DONE NOT JUST IN GALLERY; IT CAN GO OUTSIDE OF IT. OUR TENDENCY IS TO TAKE ART FROM GALLERY AND TO SHOW IT TO PEOPLE ON THE STREETS; TO INTERACT WITH THEM.
THE BODY IS ACTING LIKE A CANVAS, LIKE THE WAY OF COMMUNICATION. PEOPLE SEE YOU AND IMMEDIATELY INTERACT WITH YOU.
IN OCTOBER 2010 WE HAVE DONE "WE SHINE" PERFORMANCE IN DUPLEX. WE TOOK MOST IMPORTANT IMAGES FROM HISTORY OF ART AND PUT THEM CHRONOLOGICAL. FROM LEGS (AS THE ROOTS), TO THE UPPER PART OF BODY (20TH CENTURY). THE ACCENT IS ON THE LIPS, SYMBOLICALLY. EVERY COPY OF HISTORY OF ART IS SENSELESS AND THE POINT IS THAT ART ACTUALLY COMES FROM INSIDE OF YOU TROUGH YOUR MOUTH, TROUGH THE WAY OF BODY LANGUAGE AND THE WAY OF EXPRESSING YOURSELVES".

Three monkeys in Sarajevo, (and other parts of BiH & Europe)

The very first performance "Three monkeys", was performed two days before National elections in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Members of the group,  went trough Sarajevo painted as funny looking monkeys. In B&H political system there are three Presidents. Color crew trough theirs faces and bodies expressions showed ironic situation in which our country is.

As they were walking throught Downtown, random public recognized point of the Performance and they recognized conditionally speaking - funny situation in which our country and people are.

The performance was re performed in other cities of B&H. As in others countries, too. The situation of "Three monkeys" who eats bananas and don't care much about public can be placed in almost any system of living beings. There is always crowd of big "Primates" who take advantage of others "small species".
